Burj Khalifa – The tallest skyscraper in the world

Burj Khalifa, the 200 + floor high skyscraper. The tallest skyscraper in the world. Situated at Downtown, Dubai just next to the Dubai Mall.

I had a quick visit to this place with my friends and I am sharing relevant pictures of the visit. It’s an Engineering marvel. One can literally see all of Dubai and even adjoining places like Sharjah from the observation deck which is floor number 124 (you are not allowed above that).

The elevator needs a special mention; imagine something taking you from 1st level to the 124th level in 1 min, isn’t that breath taking? It’s definitely a onetime visit and if there are any queries please leave me a comment and I will be happy to help you to the best of my knowledge. Hope you enjoy the snaps (minor adjustments done in exposure and contrast to make the pictures look better).

1. I loved this picture as it feels that the street light is illuminating the Burj.

Look at those tiny little things called vehicles.

The clouds touching the observation deck after we came down. Truly breathtaking view. Image capture in a mobile phone hence a lot of noise in the image.

Last image credits to a dear colleague who was present with me. It was taken on his mobile phone.

PS : I have posted these images in some other forums of which I am a member.

  1. Anoope when you look down from the 124th floor what do you feel like?may be how fragile and tiny humans are right?
where is this thing situated?palm island?you need a lot of money to enter inside?

    1. It’s scary view from the top. But you feel happy to see the clouds which pass by. The clouds are on the same plane as you are on the observation deck. The traffic looks tiny as you can see in the second last pic.

The cost of entry for a person is less than 2000 Inr if booked in advanced and around 3500 Inr if its taken in emergency.

It’s far from palm. They have now made Dubai’s most attractions near Burj Khalifa if I am not wrong.

    1. Thank you princess (in Italian), I am glad you liked the snaps.

Night time is a different spectacle, it would have been better if you had gone somewhere around 6:00 pm, sunset time. There is always a next time. Do check out the musical fountain also if you happen to go. It is another experience.

      Cheers
